UNESCO Creative Cities

The UNESCO Creative Cities Network is an ongoing project that aims at creating a globally connected group of cities. Cities are awarded membership to celebrate and protect their creative and cultural history, while supporting and ensuring their future endeavours. There are a diverse range of categories, ranging from Literature to gastronomy.

Currently Dunedin is on its second stage of the application for City of Literature status.
